Day 100 - Go Bears
When I was told me and Luisa successfully placed in my University’s ranking list about Marco Polo's Program (and so allowed to spend some time abroad developing our research) I was very happy, of course. But the reason of my happiness was we were going to leave for Berkeley.
New retro-arrival at TC Labs!

Day 81 - Wandering in SFO
San Francisco, the most European of American cities... I'll miss you so much...

Day 72 - Back in Silicon Valley
After six years from my first trip here, I came back to where it all started! Revolution, at the Computer History Museum was an amazing show just in the middle of a God blessed land, even if a lot of startups around closed compared to 2006.

Day 70 - Report and images from last Cal Day
On Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the University of California, Berkeley, opened the campus to the public, offering free access to more than 370 events at labs, performance halls, museums, classrooms and more. An annual event, Cal Day was expected to attract 40,000 visitors this year.
Info
Since 2004, this blog has been Simone Garagnani's digital playground - where geek culture, science, architecture, engineering ITs and vintage hardware come together. Here you can find hands-on experiments with retrocomputing, stories about underground nerd culture, and in-depth explorations of BIM, high-resolution digital surveying, and computer graphics for architecture, engineering, and construction. The blog was originally launched during my university years together with Pasquale Squillace and Giuseppe Pernigotti. Over time, it has grown into a hub for anyone interested in crossing wires between technology, creative design, and the hidden treasures of digital heritage. If you're passionate about mixing past innovations with new digital adventures, and enjoy a good dose of nerd irony, welcome, you'll feel right at home!
